Line Springs road will deliver you to the Metcalf Bottoms Picnic area where you will find a beautiful rushing stream, picnic tables, walking areas, with wildlife and more. It IS the “Jewel of the Smokies” for sure in Wears Valley. Fishing, Swimming and Picnic areas so near your Wears Valley Getaway Cabin.

Metcalf Bottoms is an awesome picnic area with accessible areas to explore the water, take a short hike, or just enjoy at picnic tables. Metcalf Bottoms is an excellent beginner stop for your day of adventure.

From Metcalf Bottoms you will be able to access Little River Road which can take you to Townsend, Tennessee, Cades Cove, the Townsend Wye, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Visit Metcalf Bottoms at Line Springs Road, off Wears Valley Road in East Tennessee.

Whether you swim in the Wye, take the Cades Cove Loop, Discover Townsend Tennessee, or take Little River Road to Gatlinburg, you are off on a wonderful adventure. Great for kids, couples and groups!
