The Farmer’s Market takes place every Saturday and Wednesday in season, early in the day, and Market Square is filled with unique restaurants and shops that are a delight to visit.
When you are ready to move on maybe a day a the Knoxville Zoo would be cool! All ages can enjoy the Knoxville Zoo! Plan to get wet if it’s warm outside. Visit the Splash Pads and find some surprise geysers that will surely cool you off! Have you ever gotten eye level with a giraffe? Try it! Feed the giraffes when you get eye level with them for a one to one experience! If you have kids with you they will certainly enjoy the Wee Play Adventure Park and Kid’s Cove as they find an unforgettable experience of awesome activities.
The shows are some of the most enjoyable experiences at the Knoxville Zoo. If you are a bird lover you will have the chance to learn about all types of birds, see them upclose and have them take flight during the show.
